FAQ

Find quick answers to the most common questions about XAnon, how we work, and how you can be part of building a more open, connected community.

No. While we strongly encourage and facilitate interactions with neighbours to build local resilience, Xanon is designed to foster connections between strangers across wider communities and existing social networks. Our aim is to build a stronger, more connected society by bridging gaps both near and far.

We prioritize transparency and user control. While the platform encourages you to be open in your interactions, we have strict policies against sharing personally identifiable information without consent. We use your location data (if permitted) only to suggest relevant local groups and conversations, ensuring that your data serves the community without compromising your safety or privacy.

Unlike platforms that often prioritize sensationalism and engagement-at-all-costs, Xanon is designed specifically to facilitate meaningful interactions and shared humanity. We focus on quality of connection over quantity of content, aiming to be a tool for true inclusiveness and shared purpose, rather than an isolating bubble.

The best way to start is by engaging genuinely. Look for a discussion related to a local issue or a positive community initiative and offer a thoughtful perspective. Introduce yourself to a “stranger” on a relevant thread, or simply offer to share a skill or need with a “neighbour.” Your participation, no matter how small, is what builds the community’s strength.

Some areas of Xanon are open for public viewing, but creating an account allows you to fully engage — post comments, share insights, and connect with others. Signing up is free and helps maintain a safe, authentic space for genuine interaction.
